Microsoft and Nike Have Created a Custom Jordan-Branded Xbox One X

Xbox

Nike has joined hands with Microsoft to promote its new Air Jordan III Retro U sneakers. Microsoft has created limited-edition Jordan-branded Xbox One X consoles. The gaming is red in color and also has the popular Jumpman logo–used by Nike to promote the Air Jordan brand of basketball sneakers and other sportswear.

Having said that, the new Jordan-console is not for sale. Microsoft has only manufactured a certain number of such consoles and they are planning to give them away to die-hard gamers. On 16 February 2020, they informed the gaming community via a tweet depicted in the below image. The competition ends on 27 February 2020 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).

To win the competition, you must first qualify for it. On their website, Microsoft has listed several criteria that may qualify a person for this competition. Firstly, you must be a local resident of an Xbox Live supported region. Click here to view the list of Xbox Live supported regions. Secondly, you must be 18 years of age or older. Minors can ask their parents to fill-up the application form for them.

Furthermore, you must also not be an employee or a director of Microsoft Corporation and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, and promotion parties. If this sounds like you, even your parents, children, siblings, spouse/domestic partners, or individuals residing in the same household are not permitted to participate.

Finally, to enter the competition, login to Twitter and follow Microsoft’s Xbox account. Retweet this post and make sure to add the hashtag #Xbox Sweepstakes. You are free to add other text content (like opinions, thoughts, etc) as well.

Needless to mention, you can only enter the competition once. Do not retweet twice if you have already done it once. However, doing so won’t disqualify you from the competition as this is just a promotional campaign. The more the retweets, the better.

Some Tweets from Xbox Fans on Jordan-Branded Xbox One X

ClarityHJ says “Hello Xbox Team. I highly doubt you are reading this since you are most likely just checking the retweets. I just wanted to let you guys know why I should get the Xbox. I have been having a rough couple of weeks recently. It would make my day/week/month/year if I won the Xbox.

XFL Advocate Jeff Kotuby says “God, Vishnu, Allah, Flying Spaghetti Monster, whoever’s listening this time: I haven’t asked for anything since Super Bowl LII. I’m back asking for one more thing – this.”

Clearly, the social media team at Microsoft’s Xbox department has received mixed reactions from their die-hard fans, particularly since they tweeted the picture of Jordan-Branded Xbox One X on 13 February 2020.
