Windows 10 on Raspberry Pi 3 is a treat for all users as it is official that we will finally see it!
Raspberry-Pi is finally ready for your entire Windows 10 experience. A new installer lets you put Windows-10 on pre-order, including the Pi. And it’s made by the very same individuals who got Windows 10 on Arm onto Lumia 950 and 950 XL handset.
You can find the Github page here, from which programmer Jose Manuel Nieto Sanchez telephone the tool “a breeze to use” and “no-hassle.” It needs a RaspberryPi 3 Model B or B, a micro sd card (he recommends a 1 rating) and also a Windows 10ARM64 image, which is connected to by the page where you receive the downloading instructions.
Nieto Sanchez is quick to indicate that “these binaries are not mine [emphasis his]and therefore are bundled and offered only for convenience to make your life easier, as this tool is focused on ease “
Previously, the only real way to run Windows at all was by using Windows IoT Core. However, Windows 10 on ARM may be a lot more capable. We intend on giving this a try ourselves soon, although we don’t have much hope for rapid boot times and also a super-snappy experience.
