Lastly, to stream the Netflix content seamlessly, you must have a stable and high-speed internet connection. Are you using the internet served by your wireless carrier? 1. Disable Adblock Software

The first and obvious course of action should be to disable the Adblock extension from your web browser. Adblock extensions are available for almost every web browser on the planet. Below, I have shared step by step ways to disable Adblock software. 

Disable Adblock on Google Chrome

Step 1: 

Open the Chrome menu by clicking on the three dots located on the top right corner of the screen.

Step 2: 

Take your cursor to the option named “More tools.” Select Extensions.

Step 3: 

A list of all installed extensions will show up. Locate the Adblocker extension and click on the remove button. 

Step 4: 

Restart the Chrome browser. 

Disable Adblock on Mozilla Firefox

Step 1: 

In the Firefox browser, select the menu option by moving your cursor to the top right corner of the screen. 

Step 2: 

Select Tools and then hover on “Add-ons.” 

Step 3: 

A left-hand pane will open up, select Extensions. 

Step 4: 

Lastly, a list of installed extensions will populate. Locate Adblock and disable it.

Disable Adblock on Safari

Step 1: 

Open the Safari web browser on your device. 

Step 2: 

Click on the menu bar located on the top right corner of the screen, select Preferences. 

Step 3: 

A new window will appear. Locate the Extensions button and click on it. 

Step 4: 

A list of extensions will appear. Locate Adblock and click on the toggle switch to disable the extension.

Disable Adblock on Microsoft Edge

Step 1: 

In the Microsoft Edge browser, locate the Settings option located somewhere in the top left corner of the screen.

Step 2: 

A dropdown list will appear. Hover the cursor on the Manage Add-ons from the list. In the left pane, select Toolbars and Extensions. 

Step 3: 

Locate the Adblock extension and click Disable. Restart the Microsoft Edge browser. 

2. Reboot the Wireless Router and Modem

If the above method didn’t work for you, it would be fair to shift the focus to the internet connection. Maybe there is a problem with the router, and as a result, your device is not loading up specific webpages. In this section, I will show you how to reboot the home wifi router. 

Also, keep in mind that there is a significant difference between rebooting and resetting a router. I am only concerned with rebooting. Follow these easy-to-implement steps.

Step 1: 

Switch off the Power supply to the router and modem. Unplug both the router and the modem.

Step 2: 

Wait for a few seconds. 

Step 3:

Plugin the modem cable. Turn on the power supply for the modem. 

Step 4:

Wait for a few seconds. 

Step 5:

Plugin the router cable. Turn on the power for the router.

Step 6: 

Wait for a few seconds. Now open the Netflix website or the app from the device and see if it fixed the problem. It has been reported that an unstable internet connection is one of the biggest causes of the error code M7111-1931-404.

3. Update the Web Browser

This is another easy fix for this problem. To get Netflix up and running again, all you have to do is see if your web browser is updated to the latest version or not. The steps to update a browser is quite similar for all browsers. Still, I have shared the step by step method to update each of the popular web browsers.

Update Google Chrome Browser

Step 1: 

Whether you are accessing the Netflix streaming service from your computer, Android device, or iOS device, the Google Chrome browser gets updated automatically if you have a high-speed internet connection.

Nevertheless, if you still want to update the Chrome web browser, simply locate the menu bar (three dots) located on the top right corner of the screen.

Step 2: 

Hover the cursor over the Help option. In the left pane, select About Google Chrome

Step 3: 

Google Chrome will display the current version of the browser. It will automatically begin downloading the update of the setup on your device.

Step 4: 

Restart the browser.

Update Mozilla Firefox

Step 1: 

Locate and click on the menu bar on the top right corner of the screen.

Step 2: 

Hover the cursor on the Help option. In the left pane, select About Firefox.

Step 3: 

Click Check for updates. Let Firefox download the update of the setup.

Step 4: 

Restart the browser.

Update Microsoft Edge

Step 1: 

In the Microsoft Edge browser, click on the menu bar located on the top right corner of the screen. 

Step 2: 

Hover over the Help and feedback option. A pane will appear on the left side of the dropdown.

Step 3: 

Select About Microsoft Edge. The app will display the current version. You can choose to update by minimizing the window.

Step 4: 

Restart the browser. 

4. Remove VeeHd Extension

Whether you use the VeeHd streaming service or not, chances are your Chrome browser might have the VeeHd extension (or some other adware installed by VeeHd) installed. 

You might have installed this extension by mistake, or some website must have tricked you into installing it (as they have done with thousands of other Netflix users). The bottom line is, you need to get rid of this extension as soon as possible. This section will show you how.
