Like if you are from India, you choose India and if you are from US, you choose US. The setup will install all themes and wallpapers according to your selection. All the wallpapers and themes come with country/region. Like if you have selected India, it will show you different wallpapers and if you have selected US, then it will show you different. So no matter what you have selected during the installation of Windows 7, you can still use all countries wallpapers and themes. How to use International Wallpaper and Themes in Windows
So here you will be guided on how to use international wallpaper and themes in Windows 7. If you have selected India and want to use themes and wallpapers of Canada or any other country, then use this trick. So let’s start.
- Go to the start menu and in the search box type this C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT and hit enter. Keep one thing in mind, If you have installed windows on any other drive than enter that drive letter in place of C.
- Now a new window will open in front of you and you wills see different sub folders like MCT-AU (For Australia), MCT-US(United States), MCT-CA(Canada), MCT-ZA(South Africa), MCT-GB(great Britain).
- Now choose which country theme and wallpapers you want to use. Like for Canada C:\windows\Globalization\MCT\MCT-CA\Theme. This will show you theme of Canada. Now double click the theme.
- After the double click, windows will automatically install a shortcut of the theme and wallpaper in Control Panel under Personalization.
- Now choose any theme and wallpaper of the selected country.
